More than 15 years ago we ate the unbeatably delicious waffles from Hein and Stin with our children and we were so delighted when we visited Prerow again this year that Hein and Stin are still there. From our point of view it is a MUST to enjoy a homemade waffle with ice cream or something else

Super nice family. Great gastronomy and there is a lot of love in everything. But the best is yet to come: We are real ice cream fans and have really never eaten such good ice cream 👍😍

The service was very unfriendly and the contact details are noted on slips of paper, the full contact details of a complete stranger were on the back of my slip of paper, this slip was brought to my place - thanks for the great data protection. The owners often mention the difficulties caused by Corona and try to justify the sometimes extremely unfriendly staff, but despite this crisis it is only really necessary to be harsh in the rarest of cases, a basic level of friendliness can be expected as a customer.

Small café with a beautiful garden. There are homemade waffles and very, very good ice cream. We recommend the varieties eggnog and black vanilla!

2.5 stars - we wouldn't go back. Ice cream, waffles and coffee drinks were delicious. Friendliness and flexibility vary from employee to employee. Organization on site seems a bit mindless and inefficient. "Corona" seems to be a welcome justification for a lack of customer orientation with various restrictions: Toilet closed, Self-service including self-clearing, However: The tables are NOT cleaned between the changing guests, ours was smeared with ice. The waiting / ordering customers do not value compliance with the corona distance regulations. Against this background, i.e. the lack of service, the prices are too high. Although these are on the outside, you only get a complete impression after paying and sitting at the table.

Anyway, Prerow is the most beautiful place to go on vacation and so for us the ice cream gourmet at Hein & Stin is always part of it when we are there. The ice cream is delicious and creamy. There is a large selection so everyone will find something. In addition, you just have to come by several times to eat ice cream, because the many types of ice cream want to be checked for taste :). The prices are completely ok. The garden is currently only accessible and usable by prior arrangement (due to Corona), but that's not a problem. The owners simply adhere to the requirements and regulations. If it weren't like that, you would have to do without the best ice cream in Prerow, oh what on the whole peninsula, because it would be closed. Nobody wants that! :)

We were received very unfriendly from the outset ... then we should sit down at a table that we were assigned with harsh tone even though all other tables in the garden were free. We then politely asked if we could sit at a table of our choice. But this was forbidden with the sentence “this is not a request concert”. We then left the restaurant without further words. The Waffle and Eisbecher are outstanding! A must for anyone visiting Prerow.

Ice cream very tasty, staff very friendly, nice atmosphere in the garden. Unfortunately, no output concept with numbers or names, which means that it is a bit exhausting for people to lurk when their own waffle is called up and whether it is really your turn - unnecessary to solve very simply. Waffle, unfortunately, completely tasteless.

The garden is wonderful - unfortunately the staff does not adhere to the mask requirement. 4 out of 4 employees worked without a mask or had it under their chin. Glass protection when selling, but at the table where the personal details were noted, sometimes less than 0.4 m away - as I said, without a mask! Also no toilet. Overall not currently recommended. Too bad.

I would give five stars for the waffle with ice cream etc., but the service seems to have been completely forgotten. Space is assigned to you like in a five star hotel, but you have to serve yourself, you are on your own when clearing away. We'll see when the stupid tourists do the washing and shopping themselves.

Hein and Stin is a very nice ice cream parlor, which is actually more of an ice cream parlor. The ice cream tastes very good and the selection is great. The waffles taste good too. There are also Flammkuchen. The service is friendly.
